创作背景
《White Horse》的创作灵感来源于泰勒·斯威夫特的一个前男友，具体原因是，泰勒在之前认为她的这位男朋友是自己的白马王子，但是当她发现她的这个男朋友脚踏两条船后，便向他提出分手。这首歌主要写的是泰勒在接受这段感情已经结束了的事实时的心情。泰勒说她本来是准备把这首歌放进第三张专辑《Speak Now》里的，但在后来因为《实习医生格蕾》一剧提前出现在《Fearless》里。
