剧情介绍
由于祖母遭入侵的鞑靼人俘虏凌辱后悲惨地死去，图兰朵为了替祖母报仇，想出了一个让外来的求婚者赴死的主意。她出了三个谜语，能猜中的就可以招为女婿，猜不中就要杀头。各国的王子为此纷纷前来，波斯王子因为没猜中，遭杀头的命运；鞑靼王子卡拉夫乔装打扮，却猜破了谜语。虽然卡拉夫猜破了谜语，图兰朵却不愿履行诺言。结果卡拉夫与图兰朵立约，要她在第二天猜出他真实姓名，不然，就要执行诺言。图兰朵找卡拉夫女仆探听，女仆为守秘而自杀。最终，还是卡拉夫自己说明了身份，使图兰多特肃然起敬，甘愿委身于他。《今夜无人入睡》就是卡拉夫在要求图兰多特猜其身份的那一夜所唱。
