人物经历
1982至1990年在新疆大学地理系自然地理专业读本科和研究生
1990至1997年在新疆大学地理系任助教、讲师,
期间1995年2月至1996年1月在上海同济大学留德预备部强化学习德语,
1997-2002年在德国柏林理工大学(TU Berlin)景观规划与环境管理研究所攻读博士,
2002年11月获得理学博士学位,
2003年1月至2006年7月先后在德国柏林理工大学生态研究所、新疆大学理论经济学博士后流动站从事博士后研究。
2003年12月被聘为新疆大学资源与环境科学学院副教授,
2006年12月晋升为教授。

近20年来,参加了在中国、德国、瑞士、奥地利、法国、比利时、荷兰、俄罗斯、格鲁吉亚、吉尔吉斯坦、印尼等国家举办的国际学术会议50余次,并在大会上作报告。本人负责组织的国际会议有:
1)中德学术会议:中亚内陆河流域受损生态系统恢复与重建——以中国新疆塔里木河为例,2003年8月31日至9月5日,新疆库尔勒(德意志学术交流中心、Heinrich-Boell 基金会联合资助)。
2)国际会议:中亚跨边境国际河流的水资源利用冲突及其解决途径—以哈萨克斯坦、吉尔基斯坦、塔吉克斯坦和中国新疆地区为例,2006年8月29日至9月4日,新疆乌鲁木齐(大众基金会资助)。
3)国际会议:气候变化背景下塔里木河流域水资源可持续利用利益相关者对话与管理,2010年2月21-23日,新疆乌鲁木齐(德国科技部国际合作局资助)。
4)第32届国际地理学大会(32nd International Geographical Congress)分会场"Ecosystem Services of Floodplains in Arid Central Asia" 召集人,2012年8月26-30日,德国·科隆。
