創作背景
《White Horse》的創作靈感來源于泰勒·斯威夫特的一個前男友，具體原因是，泰勒在之前認為她的這位男朋友是自己的白馬王子，但是當她發現她的這個男朋友腳踏兩條船後，便向他提出分手。這首歌主要寫的是泰勒在接受這段感情已經結束了的事實時的心情。泰勒說她本來是準備把這首歌放進第三張專輯《Speak Now》裡的，但在後來因為《實習醫生格蕾》一劇提前出現在《Fearless》裡。
